Christianity And The Religion Of Islam - 1180 Words

Christianity and the religion of islam have many differences. I believe it’s time for someone to go into depth of how Christianity and Islam are similar and different. One thing to remember is that all this is based on Historical discoveries, and my opinions are based on my research. So, without further ado, let’s get started. Take in mind that I have never read the, â€Å"Qur’an†, or the, â€Å"Holy Bible†. I will try my best to make everything factual. The descendant - Christianity: All christians believe that Jesus was sent down from heaven by God, to free us from sin. Christians believe this because it is stated in the bible several times and even has an entire book in the bible dedicated to Jesus’s birth, life, death, and finally resurrection. After being accused countless times for being a liar, people soon started to realize that Jesus was not practicing witchcraft because he arose from the dead. Take in mind that people watched him di e, and they buried his dead body behind a giant rock. The descendant -Islamic Faith: In this religious practice, they don’t believe somebody descended straight from heaven to spread the word of God. What they do believe is that the prophet Muhammad came to the people to spread the word of God. Muhammad was a descendant of the prophet Ishmael, and the son of the prophet ibrahim. He was very well respected by all and seemed very trustworthy by many. People believed in everything he said because of the level of trust he had gained.
